I feel as though we have been MIA from the blog world lately. Things have been so busy, that I seldom take the time to download photos and write. Chris and I are both knee-deep in school, and with the fall semester approaching work has become increasingly more demanding. Chris has enjoyed having a "work free" summer, but between the girls and his classes there isn't much time left.
We started out our summer with a Memorial Day visit from Grandma and Grandpa
This was a great day at McClain National Park (a bit cold...but we couldn't keep the girls out of the lake!)
The annual fourth of July parade took place in Dollar Bay followed by a modest display of fireworks in our driveway! Izzy and Addy both enjoyed the "boom booms".
Our summer has been good...but COLD. Today our high is supose to be near 58 degrees which should be October weather not July! Addy is taking golf lessons this summer and enjoying time at the beaches.

Someone caught the grumpies!

A little father/daugher catch at the beach!
Last weekend was the Strawberry Festival...which always makes for a great family day! Boy, do my girls love strawberry shortcake...but then again, who doesn't?
Addy and her buddy Dylan on the hay ride
And in closing, here are some tater funnies!!!
Her biggest "Cheeze ever" and "oops, the bucket is stuck"
