It has been forever since I have sat down to work on the blog....and I must wonder where the time has gone! I am going to use this blog entry to get up-to date...so lots of pictures and less babbling than usual. The spring and summer were amazing! I finally completed my MS ed and enjoyed a lovely family gathering in the Wisconsin Dells. So much fun to celebrate with the girls and Grandma/Grandpa Martin.
The summer gave us plenty of time to spend at the beach! Chris and the girls made more trips than I, but any time spent on beautiful lake superior didn't go unappreciated. If/when the time comes to leave this area-we will miss the beautiful days enjoying family and the water.
As promised, this year we drove to the indian reservation in Baraga for Chris to get his "big boy boom booms" for the fourth of July. I didn't get any great photos because I was nervous that we were going to start the neighborhood on fire!
Isabelle celebrated her fourth (count 'em fourth) birthday. I can hardly believe how quickly they have both grown...I feel like each year builds more momentum and time goes by even more quickly. Auntie Steph was here to celebrate Iz B's birthay and we had a great time.
The school year started with ease...Isabelle is going to a preschool located in the elementary school and LOVES it! Addy is enjoying being a third grader which means access to the "big kid" playground...Fall also marked the beginning of all the extra curricular activities. Addy is enjoying participating in a basketball camp at Michigan Tech while Izzy is thrilled to be back in ballet class.
This afternoon we took the kiddos to the pumpkin patch and made our way through the corn maze. It is a beautiful fall day here...the only problem is that we all know that the 7 months of winter will be upon us anyday...
