Where has the time gone!

I realized over the weekend, that I haven't posted in quite some time.  So picking up where I left off...the family went to Traverse City in early May to visit the Millar family.  It was like medicine for my soul to be with family...They have such a special place in our hearts, and it was a complete delight to watch Kilee and Addy pick up where they left off years ago!
Addy collecting eggs
Iz B. chasing chickens
Addy's first solo ride!
Thumbs up for the Mackinaw Bridge

Once we returned from Traverse City, grandma and grandpa came for a much needed visit and to watch Addy in her school wax museum.  It was a nice time together!
Addy and her friend Laura were Robins (the MI state bird)Girl time on the patio!

The weather in May was amazing and it allowed for an earlier than usual trip to the "blueberry beach".  Our friends, Jessica, Jessie and their boys, joined us for a great day at the beach!

Addy enjoying some fishing!
Iz B. trying her best to stab the fish!
Chris trying to teach the art of casting-talk about a fish out of water!
My water babies!!
CANON BALL!
Such great kiddos!
With summer comes Bridgefest and COUNTLESS parades, the family has already walked in one with more on the calendar.  The weather was not ideal for Bridgefest, but it was a nice weekend!

Watching the fireworks for Bridgefest
The annual Forth of July schedule was upheld!  Spent the morning in Dollar Bay watching the parade, bbq in the afternoon, and a beautiful display of fireworks on the driveway (that continually test Chris' masculinity-someday, I will buy the BIG ONES!)

Note to self:  Chris deserves bigger boom booms!
Iz B "doing ballet with a magic wand"...until "the stupid wand stops working"!
So serious! Yup, she burnt herself anyhow...
DELICIOUS!

Alright, that is enough for today! Needless to say, we are enjoying our summer...and hoping it slows down a bit! Love to you all...
